Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day on Napatree!

October 4 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

Explore & celebrate the remarkable journey of migratory birds in the Napatree Point Conservation Area!

Celebrate World Migratory Bird Day with Napatree Science Advisor, Dr. Peter Paton, on a 2-mile birding walk along Little Narragansett Bay. As we explore the diverse habitats of Napatree Point Conservation Area, we’ll search for the many resident and migratory bird species that rely on this remarkable coastal landscape.

Along the way, we’ll use binoculars and spotting scopes to get a closer look at birds in flight and along the shoreline. Our Napatree Naturalists & Science Advisors will share their knowledge while encouraging participants to share their own observations and appreciation for the birds around us.

We welcome both new and experienced birders to join us!

Any individual 18 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

A limited number of binoculars will be available for participants. Binoculars generously donated by ParsonsKellog.

This program is approximately 90 minutes, allowing participants to take advantage of the free parking along Bay Street.

Weather: Rain will cancel the program. Any cancellations will be communicated via email.
