Free Guided Nature Walks
Join Napatree Point Conservation Area naturalists
for free guided nature walks every Saturday through Labor
Day. Topics will reflect the interests of participants and
include shore birds, beach habitat and the history of Napatree.
Meet us at the entrance to Napatree next to the Misquamicut
Beach Club at 9:00AM for approximately a two hour stroll.
Families are welcome!
Our children's program, the "Napatree
Investigators", is offered every Tuesday, Wednesday
and Thursday morning from 8:30AM to 10:30AM for children
eight to fourteen years of age. Directed by Stephen Brown,
Science Chair of the Pine Point School, and assisted by
Warwick high school teacher, Hugh Markey, our program emphasizes
different aspects of Napatree each week such as Horseshoe
crabs, tides, marine life and others. This free program
is popular and fills quickly.
